My, my, here come the fuzz.

Mainstream Media is always truthful

April fools!!!

I know that was lame but everyone else is doing an April fools joke. Anyway, here's the story. I was watching a tv show this morning on CNN called Reliable Sources. You probably aren't familiar with this program. It's just a bunch of media clowns sitting around and discussing the different issues of the week.

About halfway through the program, they began to discuss Rosie O'Donnell's recent questioning of the official 9/11 story. She also made a statement about US media propaganda. To paraphrase, she said that you should get your news from outside the US to get a sense of what is really going on in this country. She said the major networks including her own(ABC) were engaged in propaganda.

The host of Reliable Sources was apparently offended by that statement. He claimed that the media is not engaged in propaganda. His proof? He said the mainstream media was involved in breaking huge stories like the warrantless wiretapping and the CIA secret prison sites. See, if the media was feeding us crap then they wouldn't have given us these stories.

Okay, good point. So when they come back from commercial I was expecting some hard hitting investigative reporting. Something about unanswered questions from 9/11 or perhaps a story on the North American Union. Nope. What do we get? A full segment about American Idol. Thanks a lot!

Move along, nothing to see here. Wait a minute, what about Operation Mockingbird? Read this story about how the CIA put media members in their pockets.
