I have read many articles bashing the 9/11 truth movement. Now when you read most of these articles you will notice three main themes. I will discuss these three themes and show you how they are an attempt to mislead you.

1. The first issue is discussing and debunking claims that most people don't have. Claims like no planes hit the towers. Most people who support the government's story will point to the Popular Mechanics article which "debunks" the no plane theory. Of course planes hit the towers! Don't fall for the straw man strategy.

2. They may attack the messenger instead of the message. More importantly, they will say that the people pushing these theories are "crazy liberals". In fact, there are conservatives involved in the truth movement like Paul Craig Roberts who was the assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury under Ronald Reagan and Morgan Reynolds who served as the chief economist for the U.S. Department of Labor during GWB's first term. Also, Professor Steven Jones describes himself as a life-long Republican. He also voted for Bush in 2000.

3. The third issue is the claim that by questioning the government's story you are somehow soiling the victims of the attacks and their families. The one way to honor the victims and their families is to find out the truth of 9/11 and bring those responsible to justice. Besides some of the victims own family members question the official story. Are they dishonoring the victims? I don't think so! Bill Doyle is the head of the Coalition of 9/11 Families. He lost his son in the attacks. He claims that around half of the family members his organization represents believes that the government was complicit.
